Planetarium

Each class had a fantastic time visiting the Pop Up Planetarium from Kielder. All the children got to explore the night sky above us and find out a bit more about the constellations and planets in our Solar System.

Shiremoor Treat

The Shiremoor treat is an annual community event where our children have the opportunity to take part in a variety of events alongside other schools including running, football and dance.

Summer Sing

Year 3 were 'shining brightly' at the Whitley Bay Playhouse when they sang beautifully in the Summer Sing Performance. They worked hard to learn the songs and actions as well as perfecting their pitching skills when singing in two part harmony. The children were thrilled to be involved in the concert and we could not be prouder of them.

Woodwind Concert

Some of our children had the chance to see musicians from Newcastle University perform in King's Hall. This experience was aimed at inspiring the musicians of tomorrow.
